Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen:

It is a new world. Alcatel retirement started 1 May as planned.

Fred spent the next two months sailing across the Atlantic and studying in

England. Phyllis was left with sorting out the move and helping her mother through a surgery.

The boat is ready in Porteroz, Slovenia.

There has been a small delay. Phyllis required surgery and Fred came back to Texas to irritate her through the process. The surgery went well and recovery is progressing in spite of Fred's best efforts. He will go accept delivery the first week in July. Phyllis will catch up in late July.

The schedule is

July	Porteroz	Sea trials for crew, systems and boat, permanent base
Aug	Ccoatia	Island hoping and casual cruising
Sept	Greece	Island hoping and casual cruising
Oct	Italy, Scily, Malta	Passage to Tunisia
Nov - Mar	Tunisia	Winter , permanent base
2002	To Be determined	Sicily, Italy, Sardinia, Corsica, French Riviera, Spain, Gibraltar
Nov / Dec 2002	Canaries to West Indies

We currently have some crewmembers and cruise plans for the following dates:

July 19	August 2	Full Crew
August 3	15	Crew needed
August 16	September 4 *	1 opening
September 9	September 24 *	Full Crew
October 4	October 15 *	Full Crew
October 16	December 1	Crew needed

If you can join us for one or two weeks, please volunteer.

The passage from Corfu to Tunisia in late October, early November is in need of some crew members.

There is the transatlantic (4 to 6 weeks) in November/December 2002. At present time we have 4 takers. This leaves 2 empty berths.
