Subject: Let's Go Sailing

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen:

It is a new world. My last career was in an industry that can't even decide on what to call itself. Is it IT, IS, MIS, EDP, or ADJ(Acronym de Jour). The next career has used the same name for the last four thousand years. It is translated into each new language, but the name and the objective have remained consistent.

The technology is ever changing. The objective remains to take people (and goods) as safely as possible from one place to another using the wind as the primary source of energy.

Let's go sailing.

In the last year or so I have discussed this letter with each of you. Its purpose is to include you in what we are doing and to entice you into the action of joining us, for a week or two, no more than three on our boat. If you bring your own boat, it could be for a longer time, if you like. The letter will tell you where we have been and where we probably will go, probably.

If you want off this mailing list, please ask. We like to reduce postage cost whenever possible.

Next week, Fred is leaving Antigua, West Indies for a transatlantic to the Azores on a Gulfstar 51. Phyllis will remain in Dallas to clean up some issues that are not yet resolved.

The delivery schedule for the boat has been improved. We expect to move aboard in late June.
