Places We Like to Stay at and Eat

For Mooring and Food by the Sea -

Along the way, some restaurants provide varying degrees of facilities for mooring a yacht.   Because there is no charge for the mooring, it is reasonable that they expect you to eat in the restaurant.

These are some of the ones we have enjoyed.

Four or five choices in this bay.  There will be four or five pilot boats trying to get you to dock at their restaurant.  Once you have indicated your choice, that boat will direct you to a place on the dock and assist you with the mooring.  Usually will come aboard your bow with the bow line.

We have only tried this one and find no reason to try the others.

Reading left to right, West to East, Rose Mary is next to the last pier.  Skull and crossbones are conspicuous.

The top sign claims “Yachting Service”.  It is true.  See Crews Letter 2008 11 for an example.  We have seen an engine alternator changed out as well.

*** EXTRA ***

Gelin Dostlar  - Just West of Rose Mary is this lovely yard filled with the atmosphere of a small village.  The “gözleme” are outstanding for brunch.  Watch them made.  The Gift shop and Carpet Production make for an interesting morning.
